  • Francisco (Fran) Munguía Guiérrez is an Occupational Therapist who in 2012, received his graduate OT degree from Universidad de Oviedo, Spain. In 2015, Fran obtained his post-graduate degree at the Universidad Affonso X el Sabio, Madrid. In 2012, has been working with adults and children with neurological disorders. He also worked with dementia patients as a Coordinator at a hospital located in Gran Canaria. Fran also worked at the hospital’s pediatric unit with babies and children up to 12 years old diagnosed with cerebral palsy, autism and rare disorders. It was there where he found his passion of helping those on the autism spectrum with daily life skills, sensory integration and school activities. Thus, he began a home program with two kids on the autism spectrum. It was here that he was first introduced to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) while working together with a psychologist. Fran is passionate and enthusiastic in his approach to Occupational Therapy. He has been trained in different approaches, such as DIR Floortime, Sensory Integration and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and is continuing training in SI and ABA. Fran was born in Gran Canaria (Spain) and is now living in The Hague and became a member of the REACH Team in May 2018. He is fluent in Spanish, English and currently taking courses to obtain B1 level in Dutch.
